Due to the limited space your only option would be to install some crossbars and use a thinner cargo box like the Yakima DeepSpace 10 Rooftop Cargo Box - 10 cuft - Black # Y65RR to the right of the vent. To know what crossbar feet would fit the track you have on there I would need to know the brand/model or the dimensions of the C-Channel.

It's very tempting to get the 12 volt power source for the trailer wiring # 118613 from the outlet you mentioned on your 2017 Ford Transit Connect but we cannot recommend this as the reason it needs to run up to the vehicle battery is so that it bypasses any factory wiring and protects it in the event of a short. I have checked with available manufacturers but there is not a custom fit front hitch produced for the 2010 Ford Transit Connect. You could potentially mount a trailer tongue toolbox like the White Buyers Products # 3371701679 to a pole tongue like what's on your Lees-ure Lite Camper but it's going to require some custom/fabricated brackets. LED taillights would not cause trailer wiring circuits to blow as they actually draw considerably less than incandescent bulbs.
So that means there is a short on the wiring somewhere on the trailer. My first question is where is the wheelchair lift mounted? Because it could use the same mounting area/locations as a trailer hitch would. It might be a moot point though because with a trailer hitch installed, such as # 75678, the receiver will be directly below the rear fascia, with the cross tube also taking up some space in that general area, and that would interfere with the lift.
